Our RJ1606 is the first coin deposit lock designed as a true lever lock and can therefore be used or retrofitted on almost all steel cabinets with 16x19mm door holes.
Due to its extremely compact design, the RJ1606 offers considerable space and cost advantages compared to conventional coin deposit locks, especially for smaller valuables compartments. The internal reinforcement otherwise required for steel doors is not necessary.

Thanks to the adjustable direction of rotation for right/left hinged doors, the master key capability and the large selection of different bolts, the RJ1606 is just as flexible and versatile as lever locks.

Due to the front mounting and the attractive design, the function is immediately obvious to every user. There is no need to set up the cabinet door for operation from the rear or to read the instructions.

The effect that users are less likely to forget to remove their coin after using the locker from the front also benefits user-friendliness.

Operating the RJ1606 is child's play. The coin can be inserted and removed easily. The user key is a comfortable reversible key with a pleasantly large grip area. The locking cylinder has a centring feature as an insertion aid, which makes the RJ1606 easy to operate even for elderly people and people with disabilities.

Because of the preferred use in public areas, special emphasis was placed on robustness. The compact, round shape offers hardly any attack surface for any form of violence or vandalism. The exchangeable locking cylinder has a key breakage protection which prevents intentional or unintentional bending or breaking of the inserted key as far as possible.

The coin is safely stored during the locking period. Two strong metal claws hold the inserted coin firmly in the lock so that attempts to remove it by force, even with the use of heavy tools, are more likely to result in the coin being destroyed than stolen.
